The Selwyn Foundation’s Chief Executive Denise Cosgrove was interviewed this week for RNZ/Newsroom’s ‘The Detail’ on ageism and the implications for our society, the economy and growing older in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Denise also spoke about the Aotearoa New Zealand National Forum for the Decade of healthy ageing | He Oranga Kaumātua, He Oranga Tangata. This think-tank and advocacy forum of leading organisations within the older persons’ sector looks to raise awareness of the UN Decade of healthy ageing (2021-2030) and how New Zealand might be enabled to become a better place to grow older. Combatting ageism is the National Forum’s main campaign focus.
